Joining forces with the talented City of London Choir, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is putting on some enchanting performances this September and October. The two shows, ‘The German Giants’ and ‘Choral Splendor’, bring the very finest in classical talent to RPO's usual west London residence of Cadogan Hall – and it's not one to be missed. Take a seat for ‘The German Giants’ and you'll be treated to an all-German programme, including Beethoven’s much-loved Leonore Overture No. 3, Brahms’ complex yet subtle Symphony No. 2 and musical fireworks from Bruch’s First Violin Concerto, performed by the RPO’s 2018 Artist-in-Residence, Esther Yoo. For ‘Choral Splendor’, you can expect to see a similarly stellar line-up, with delightful soloists performing Mozart’s famous Requiem and a performance of Mendelssohn’s enthralling First Piano Concerto from one of Britain's foremost pianists, Leon McCawley.
