Music: DJ Emily Rawson And Friends Brunch: Hubbard & Bell Movies And Manicures: ProHands The always sold out, always epic Supa Dupa Brunch Party at Soho House’s incredible Apartment is back for a Spring edition. DJ Emily Rawson, creator of club night phenomenons Supa Dupa Fly and Rock The Belles, is teaming up with The Hoxton and Hubbard & Bell for ‘A Supa Dupa Brunch Party’. Taking inspiration from NYC-style brunch parties, Emily has chosen the incredible 200 capacity Apartment, currently turning a lot of heads and part of Soho House group. The party goes on from 1pm-8pm, so no late night or dirty hangover on Monday! Music + DJs DJ Emily Rawson is one of the UK’s most in demand DJs and promoters. Her club night, Supa Dupa Fly is unquestionably the biggest throwback hip-hop and R&B night in the country, selling out every weekly event. Her all female brand, Rock The Belles, is also a monthly sold out event. Emily has recently DJ’d for the Kardashians, Chanel, Nike, Roc Nation, Island Records and artists including Big Boi, Eve and Kanye West. Her festival DJ sets and stage curation include Lovebox and The Great Escape. Emily does regular done guest mixes for BBC Radio 1Xtra, the BBC World Service and has received numerous press features from The Metro, Time Out, Le Cool and The Evening Standard. She works with Shoreditch House and Soho House under her brands Supa Dupa Fly and Rock The Belles, where she has presented acts including Daley. In November 2015, Emily won a Marie Claire ‘Women At The Top Award’ which celebrates the achievements of women in the creative industries, tech and the arts. She will be joined by DJs Fearney and Elie Prohan, alongside her friends from the music world. Expect '90s and '00s hip-hop and R&B with some '80s soul, '70s disco, '60s motown and a whole heap of other stuff. The Food: Hubbard & Bell serves up top nosh food with a French-American twist. Run in partnership with the Soho House group, all guests will get one of each of these delectable dishes… - Southern fried chicken* - Smoked appleslaw - Sweet potato, kale + roasted shallot salad - Spring vegetable and couscous with a citrus dressing - Bread baskets + garlic butter - Red velvet cake or chocolate fudge cake or strawberries and cream *For the veggies & vegans, there will be a substantial salad option instead of the chicken: baby gem, blue cheese, pear and cranberry or chicory, trompette, manchego and walnuts. Please get in touch if it’s your birthday so a birthday cake can be arranged (Groups of 8+). Movies And Manicures: The Apartment is a fun house for grown ups. So as well as playing tunes and eating incredible brunch, ProHands will be on hand doing manicures, and if you want a break from dancing, there will be '90s movies and TV shows too. Venue: The original Hoxton Hotel was named after its Shoreditch location, but that's not stopping the fledgling group from taking on the world – Brooklyn, Amsterdam, Paris – starting with Holborn. Housed in a former telephone exchange, it has just what High Holborn needs…and as for the Apartment, well, be prepared to be blown away. Latecomers may not be admitted. The event runs from 1pm-8pm so you can stay all day and evening. Please arrive 30 minutes before your brunch sitting. Sitting lasts approximately 1 hour. There will be two brunch sittings, 1:30pm and 3:30pm but the event runs from 1pm-8am so you can stay all day and evening of course. Please arrive at least 30 mins before your brunch sitting.
