The Golden Voice of African Highlife hits up The Forge
Strut Records – home to diverse artists like Sun Ra, Gilles Peterson, and Horse Meat Disco – are proud to present the triumphant return to the UK (after his sold out exclusive show last year) by the legendary King of Highlife, Pat Thomas.
The original Golden Voice of Africa will be performing with his group of stellar musicians direct from Ghana, The Kwashibu Area Band. His new album features the dazzling talents of some of the very best and the most pioneering musicians of Africa, Tony Allen and Ebo Taylor.
