Re-live TV Burp in all its glory through the eyes of an artistThe UK was a little sad when Harry Hill’s TV Burp went off the air last year. We admit we had some pangs of distress as well. Luckily, Anna FC Smith decided to take us through the action of the programme, but this time with the keen eye of anthropologist/artist. The three-dimensional pieces collectively represent TV Burp’s elements and key characters while still retaining the obvious silliness from the show.
She takes it a few steps deeper and invites you, the viewer, to react to her parody of the TV world and ‘highlights the enduring methods in which we humans engage and deal with our existence’. It’s a fascinating look into how one programme relates to an entire culture.
