Backyard Cinema At Winterville: Bad Santa
Tis the season to be thievin’
Backyard Cinema have teamed up with Winterville to create the ultimate indoor, winter cinema. Set in the heart of the festival they have created their very own enchanted forest named "The Winter Night Garden", which can only be accessed via a secret tunnel of trees and allows you to watch your favourite winter movies in the cosy, secluded depths of a magical indoor woodland. Feast on high quality food and drink from before and during the screening which can be enjoyed in the comfort and shelter of the enchanted woodland bar. Alcoholic safe-breaker Willie (Billy Bob Thornton) uses his cover as a department store Santa to rob the very same stores. But his job is thrown into jeopardy by a corrupt shop detective (Mac) and a dimwitted small boy (Kelly). Topping off a year of above-average American comedies - Dodgeball and Anchorman being the obvious highlights - Bad Santa is a delightfully obscene alternative to the usual Christmas tosh. Certificate: 15. Runtime: 1 hour 31 minutes. The ticket grants you access to your chosen film and seating on either a giant beanbag or comfy sofa. Seating is on a first come first served basis. Bar opens at 5pm, cinema opens at 7pm and film starts at 8pm. It is the customers responsibility to ensure they meet age certificate guidelines for each film shown. Anyone under-age will be turned away. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Please arrive on time as latecomers may not be admitted.
