Backyard Cinema At Winterville: Bridget Jones's Diary With Mulled Wine
It's Monday morning, Bridget has woken up with a headache, a hangover and her boss...
Backyard Cinema have teamed up with Winterville to create the ultimate indoor, winter cinema. Set in the heart of the festival they have created their very own enchanted forest named "The Winter Night Garden", which can only be accessed via a secret tunnel of trees and allows you to watch your favourite winter movies in the cosy, secluded depths of a magical indoor woodland. Feast on high quality food and drink from before and during the screening which can be enjoyed in the comfort and shelter of the enchanted woodland bar. For this screening, prepare to see your favourite floundering thirty-something Bridget Jones. Renée Zellwegger gave a career-defining performance in the film adaptation of Bridget Jones's Diary that struck a chord among women (and a good proportion of men) everywhere. Stuck in a love triangle between two Great British dandies (Colin Firth and Hugh Grant) and misstepping her way through life, you've gotta feel for ol' Bridget. Touching and hilarious in equal measure, this is a true British classic. "Zips along at a laugh-a-minute pace and fully involves the viewer in Bridget's little slice of life." – San Francisco Chronicle "Delivers frisky fun for bruised romantics regardless of age, sex or nationality." – Rolling Stone Certificate 15. Runtime: 1 hour 37 minutes. The ticket grants you access to your chosen film, a glass of mulled wine and seating on either a giant beanbag or comfy sofa. Seating is on a first come first served basis. Bar opens at 5pm, cinema opens at 7pm and film starts at 8pm. It is the customers responsibility to ensure they meet age certificate guidelines for each film shown. Anyone under-age will be turned away. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
