Backyard Cinema have teamed up with Camden Market to bring you their very own outdoor summer film festival set across two screens. Sink into giant beanbags and lounge on deckchairs as you enjoy a selection of new releases, cult favourites and all-time classics. Based in Camden Lock Place, the main stage is the hub of entertainment before the screening serving fresh burgers, craft beer, cocktails and a decent helping of live DJs. Tonight’s offering on the huge screen is Asif Kapadia's documentary Amy. Kapadia's documentary follows the six-time Grammy-winner Amy Winehouse, showcasing previously unseen archive footage to tell the London performer's tragic story in her own words. As riveting as it is sad, Amy is a powerfully honest look at the twisted relationship between art and celebrity and the lethal spiral of addiction. Not to be missed. "It's Amy's words, her music, her voicemails, her home videos, her friends, her family, her tormentors, and her timeless incandescence. Look, listen and weep." – Rolling Stone "What makes Asif Kapadia's documentary a devastating don’t-miss dazzler — like the lady herself — is the way he lays out her story without editorialising." – Rolling Stone Certificate 15. "A sad, stark study of a public life and death."
