Little Shop Of Horrors in Camden's most fun backyard
Backyard Cinema have teamed up with Camden Market to bring you their very own outdoor summer film festival set across two screens. Sink into giant beanbags and lounge on deckchairs as you enjoy a selection of new releases, cult favourites and all-time classics. Based in Camden Lock Place, the main stage is the hub of entertainment before the screening serving fresh burgers, craft beer, cocktails and a decent helping of live DJs. Tonight’s offering on the huge screen is the musical horror comedy (mus-hor-com?) Little Shop Of Horrors. Rick Moranis plays Seymour Krelborn, who works in a rundown flower shop. Seymour is on the search for fame and fortune. He purchases a strange plant from a curious stranger and names it after his girlfriend Audrey. Unlike other plants, however, Audrey II is less interested in sun, water and fertiliser, preferring to chow-down on blood and flesh. Funny and horrific in equal measures, this is a cult classic that has to be seen to be believed. "One and a half hours of freaky, scary nonsense set to a killer doo-wop soundtrack." – Film4 "Comic book creepiness, jazzy tunes and fab cast." – Common Sense Media Certificate: PG. Over 15s only. Runtime: 1 hour 34 minutes.
"This wild and witty musical is great fun."
