Fresh, young things showcase their amazing abilities
Excerpts from 20th-century Russian ballet are showcased tonight, alongside the harmonious happenings of Rachmaninov, Chopin, and Tchaikovsky. Students from London Russian Ballet School and London Russian Music School show off their talent, stemming from the processes of 19th-century Imperial Theatre. Trained in classical ballet, these are technical skills transformed into beautiful movement. Tonight, the London Soloists Philharmonia accompany, with young soprano Betty Makharinsky.
