Enchanting sounds from North AfricaAs part of their weekly series of outdoor concerts celebrating African music, The Horniman Museum and Gardens welcome Karama, an exciting band hailing from the northern-eastern reaches of Africa. Formed by Moroccan Oud player Soufian Saihi, Karama bring inspiration from the ecstatic Gnawa, North African and classical Arabic music, fusing these traditional elements with tropes from contemporary music.
