Fabien Gabel conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra in a riot of colour
Ravel's delicate Le tombeau de Couperin prefaces Swiss composer Richard Dubugnon's new concerto performed by pianist Noriko Ogawa. French conductor Fabien Gabel ends with two favourite orchestral showpieces: Háry János's comic fantasy of defeating Napoléon and stealing his wife's heart is contrasted by the ice and fire of Prokofiev's dramatisation of the real Napoleonic wars.
Children under 5 are not permitted in the Barbican Hall.
