Autobiographical cabaret telling tales from the heart
The Bridge is a heart wrenching life story told by one man, Benjamin Scheuer, and three guitars. Plucking at heartstrings, these folk-style songs evoke both a comic and candid tale. Taking us through love, death, and loss, this is a show that at once speaks of Scheuer’s own experiences and also universal emotions. A unique take on autobiography, he shimmies between jazz, blues, and a touch of rock'n'roll, with vocals that led The Stage to compare him to Bob Dylan. Seating allocated upon arrival, please note that you may have to share a table with other patrons who are not from your party.
"Ben and his guitar instantly welcome you, like a friend, into an intimate portrait of his frighteningly real story."
