Snowden and surveillance

Don't miss out again!

In June 2013, history was made in a Hong Kong hotel room. As Laura Poitras looked through her lens, a young man called Edward Snowden began to speak. The tale he told caused shockwaves that are still reverberating around the world today. Poitras’ fascinating documentary takes a look at the culture of whistleblowing and the complexities of trying to disclose classified information whilst staying one step ahead of the state.
