This is a film that you'd struggle to not be affected by. Beginning with a tender sexual encounter between two teens, it opens with the guise of resembling a teen romance. However, it is soon made apparent that it isn't as innocent as 14-year-old Sofia believes it to be and she is led into an altogether murkier world. David Pablos tackles the topic of sex trafficking in Mexico in this powerful but deeply human drama.
