For this screening, catch Juliette Binoche in a star turn as Anna, a grief-stricken mother, who – still reeling from the sudden death of a loved one – invites her son's estranged fiancée to her house, without informing her of the news. This is a film that is handled with balance and delicate care, with impressive performances all round, an intelligent script and nuanced direction from newcomer Piero Messina.
