Underground classics, set Under The BridgeBilal's rise to fame has been pretty steady so far. His debut album 1st Born Second was released in 2001 to great critical acclaim. The follow-up, "Love for Sale" (2006), was shelved but leaked entirely online and has since become an underground classic. In the following years, Bilal has developed a reputation as one of the great voices of modern soul and has collaborated and performed with some of the industry’s most prominent artists, including Beyonce, Common, Jay-Z, Erykah Badu, Robert Glasper, Boney James, Talib Kweli, The Game, Musiq, Lupe Fiasco and The Roots amongst others. Most recently, he has appeard on Kendrick Lemar's recent "To Pimp a Butterfly" album. Tonight, he appears on Under The Bridge in Fulham, for an intimate performace oozing with sophistication.
