Bridging the gap between folk past and present
Talented singer-songwriter Blair Dunlop is one to keep an eye on. His soulful vocals and stripped back guitar give his music an organic feeling. He’s no stranger to doing well either, having won the Horizon Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. His dad is the folk legend Ashley Hutchings and, even though he's a chip off the old block, Blair is also moving forward with influences ranging from Italian house to Anaïs Mitchell and Jackson Browne. "The British folk scene has produced a series of impressive dynasties, and this looks like the start of yet another."
