Any flappers out there? Mobsters? Swanky swingers? You’re cordially invited to The Blind Tiger Speakeasy (as long as you don’t fill in those pesky police chiefs after your bathtub gin supply). Time Out Live has transformed the sumptuous Bloomsbury Ballroom into the den of sin from your dreams. There’ll be cocktails to whet your whistle, a cracking casino to test your luck and so much entertainment, you won’t know what to do with yourself.
A sneak peek at the lineup: London’s ragtime orchestra, The Basin Street Brawlers, DJ Lord Anthony (donning a suit, naturally), So and So Circus, burlesque bombshell Slinky Sparkles, dancing from Swing Patrol, and more surprises in store. Sounds like the bee’s knees and the cat’s pyjamas all in one, if that was even possible.
