Kapow! Martial arts + hip-hop join forces in the battle for good
Using the visual language of comic books as a jumping off point (literally), this is energetic and entertaining stuff. Manga artist Akio Tanaka and the brains behind hip-hop's Pied Piper tell the tale of five troublemakers who are sent to a reform camp. It’s run by the Grand Master of the Pih Poh Fu martial art. Obviously, he’s also the guardian of a secret warrior group that controls peace. When things go wrong, the five must join the battle between good and evil. General admission. Over eights only.
"A lot of fun. Projections turn the stage into frames from a Japanese comic book. Cleverly conceived and entertaining."
