A rooftop film club curated and hosted by Andre Vincent – local comic, historian and eccentric – Brixtarnia Film Club screens two cult music mockumentaries from the messed up mind of Christopher Guest and co. A Mighty Wind sees three famous folk bands reunite well after their hey-day to put on a huge concert in remembrance of their now dead manager, and This Is Spinal Tap takes things up to 11 when it follows classic rock band Spinal Tap on their world tour. Throwing out quotable lines at a mad rate, ridiculous scenes (including one with a very small stonehenge) and tons of inside-jokes and rocking references, these two cult favourites take the real-life stories of the music biz and give them a real good ribbing.
