Brodsky Quartet With Loré Lixenberg Perform Björk + Schubert
Musicians totally in tune with each other
A string quartet has the ability to create sweet and moving music between just four people. But the Brodsky Quartet is particularly tight, so they can take you on an amazing journey with music both traditional and unexpected. Tonight, they start their series with a newly commissioned song cycle called Trees, Walls, Cities. Inspired by the urban environment, it explores how we can get back to nature. Compositions by Schubert, Purcell, and Björk will be performed, with mezzo-soprano Loré Lixenberg lending a hand. Best available seating."[Their] musical explorations know no limits."
