Join them for a special candlelit evening to celebrate the life and work of the great English novelist Charlotte Brontë, as they open their new exhibition Charlotte Brontë At The Soane.
Enjoy pop-up live-readings of Brontë’s masterpiece Jane Eyre in the Museum’s atmospheric interiors, get a first-look at the the new exhibition, and hear curator Charlotte Cory discuss the fascinating objects on display and the inspiration behind the show. With complimentary gin cocktails by Colonel Fox and wine for those who'd prefer, we couldn't think of a better way to toast a writer who changed the landscape of British culture forever.
Over 18s only. Valid ID required. The Soane is an historic London townhouse, so you will be asked to put any small bags into a clear plastic bag, which they will provide. Larger bags and coats must be stored in the cloakroom. Event ends at 9:30pm for both the 6:30pm and 7:30pm options.
