You might know all there is to know about French, Italian, and Spanish cheeses, but we’ll take a gamble that you’re not well versed in the Portuguese variety. A valuable part of their cuisine, it’s completely underrated in the world, and we’re here to make a stand.
Antonio Lopes Vieira from Atlántico will lead you on a tasting journey through five different cheeses from the mountain pastures in Portugal. You can expect everything from dense sheep’s milk, thistle rennet, and paprika rinds (if you’re a newbie, no worries, these nice people are here to teach you the ways). Vivat Bacchus will also be digging out some nice vinos from the cellars to pair. It’s gonna get crazy over here.
