A listening party for their ground-breaking debut album1995 was a big year for electronica. More specifically, The Chemical Brothers released their debut album ‘Exit Planet Dust’, starting a revolution in rave culture and dance music, which took the world by storm. Legend is they stayed up for 3 weeks straight to record the album, and quite frankly we wouldn’t doubt it.
Listen along at 6:30pm to music that inspired or was contemporary to the LP. Then at 8:30pm, you’ll learn the story behind the album, followed by a continuous replay of the record on vinyl. If you’re hungry, The Hanbury Arms is known for their fresh brick oven pizza (with a gluten-free option as well). It’s an audiophile’s dream.
General admission. Please remain quiet during the event.
