No set programme, he'll play whatever strikes his mood
The master of ivory virtuosity knows his stuff when it comes to piano. And because he’s so good at what he does (he did start his training at age four, that overachiever), he’s well, coming to Institut Francais a little unprepared...on purpose. He’ll start the night with improv, then announce a special surprise programme including some Chopin, Liszt, and Debussy according to his mood at the moment. How’s that for last minute decisions?
Bonus: you’ll get a free glass of wine after the concert, so drink up!
‘A musician of prodigious technique and genuine insight, whose feel for a musical gesture is extraordinary.’
