Spellbinding recorder virtuoso knows some fancy tricks
David Bellugi hails from the US, but settled in Florence, Italy in 1979. His recorder work is bold and bright, leading him to perform with many different orchestras. He has premiered the work of Luciano Berio and Dan Locklair among others. Tonight he is accompanied by Charles Matthews on the harpsichord, and they explore the works of JS Bach and Leo Brouwer.
