An artistic look at mortalityDon’t be spooked by the obviously dark dealings in this grave event. Death: A Self-Portrait highlights many different mediums by several death-obsessed artists. On display are anatomical drawings, abstract etchings of corpses, figurative metaphors & curiosities galore (like a chandelier made of bones, for example). This is not to be missed.
‘Personification is the subject of a tremendous show opening at the Wellcome Collection, which includes Dürer, Goya, and many other death-depicting artists in its wide and sometimes frightening array.’ - Guardian.
This event is free. We need your card details to confirm the booking but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny. Last admission is 5.30pm, the exhibition closes at 6.00pm.
