Three hours of experimentation, music and creative freedom
Join Dan Whiteson at the ultra-trendy Display Gallery for a brand new, large-scale life drawing extravaganza for all abilities. With a theme of music and dynamism, you'll begin the afternoon, glass of wine in hand, with experimental drawing exercises inspired by the likes of Kandinsky, Klee and the Italian futurists. Once you're all warmed up and the charcoal is flying, you'll move on to the main event: a two-hour life drawing class, with at least two models to work from culminating in a rare opportunity to draw from live performances of both music and dance. With an emphasis on quick, dynamic drawing, an eclectic playlist and Whiteson's unique, informal approach to teaching, you can expect to feel comfortable, inspired and challenged in what promises to be a truly unique experience. Over 18s only. Valid ID required. No photography permitted. All materials provided. Runtime: 3 hours.
"…the fashionable way to hang out in a London pub these days is with a pencil in one hand, a pint in the other and a naked person posing a few feet in front of you."
