Carefree canalboat cruising in East LondonAll aboard the Alfred Le Roy canal boat for a two-and-a-half-hour cruise of the River Lea, departing from Hackney Wick at the edge of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park before heading out on one of two routes, then heading back. The boat is light and airy with open-air roof sections that are simply beautiful on bright summers days, and also has warm and sheltered areas should the Great British weather decide to do what it does best.
With an artisan delicatessen sharing board for two to share featuring premium charcuterie meats or a vegetarian selection, cheeses from Neal’s Yard diary, artisan breads and other tasty seasonal paired delights and two drinks each also included, this is a delicious and delightful way to while away a couple of hours. Alternatively, you can choose to opt for a seat and cocktail ticket and just soak up the sun with a specialty cocktail in hand.
Cruises last for two-and-a-half hours. Choose from these two routes:
- Good Friday and Saturday cruises: Hackney Wick to Springfield Park and back
- Sunday and Bank Holiday cruises: Hackney Wick to Limehouse Basin and back (via Old Ford lock and the Limehouse cut)
Cruise + Dine tickets must be purchased in pairs and include a delicatessen sharing platter (vegetarian and meat options available) and four specialty cocktails to share.
Seat + Cocktail tickets can be purchased individually and include the cruise and one specialty cocktail.
