An incredible lineup for another Fringe preview
Matt Forde and Andy Zaltzman are here to give you a sneaky peek of their set before hitting this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Matt Forde: It’s My Political Party (And I’ll Cry if I Want To) Following the UK’s most important referendum until the next one, Matt Forde celebrates why it’s great/awful that we’re in/out of the EU/UK/NATO/whatever the hell happens next. As seen on The Royal Variety Performance 2015 (ITV), Have I Got News For You (BBC One), Mock the Week (BBC Two) and Question Time (BBC One). "Highly engaging, inherently funny…an ability to ad-lib laughs out of thin air." – Chortle Andy Zaltzman: Plan Z Andy has firmly established himself in the vanguard of British comedy with his unique brand of political satire. He can currently be seen touring his show Satirist For Hire around the country, and at his monthly show at the Soho Theatre, in which he takes audience suggestions for topics to satirise during the show. Andy also hosts and curates the sell-out show Political Animal, which he conceived and originally co-hosted alongside John Oliver. Over the years, the show has had an impressive list of guests including Frankie Boyle, Daniel Kitson, Stewart Lee, Jeremy Hardy, Chris Addison, Russell Howard, and Richard Herring. "The best political comedian in the business, Zaltzman lets loose a veritable torrent of jokes, facts, observations, very short stories, silly remarks and inspired asides…Zaltzman is breathtakingly good." – Time Out Seating is unallocated. For those wanting to sit in groups, the venue advises you to arrive earlier and be one of the first into the performance space to bag the perfect spot. Doors open: 7pm. Matt Forde: 7:30pm.
