Two more brilliant acts showcase their Edinburgh Fringe work for 2016
Peter Antoniou, ‘The Psychic Comedian’ himself, and Bethany Black are teaming up to give you a double bill of entertainment as they preview their shows before heading up to Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival this summer. Peter Antoniou: Happy Medium If you could ask a psychic a question what would it be? Direct from London’s West End, award-winning ‘psychic’ comedian Peter Antoniou brings his unique skills to peer inside your head, fondle your frontal lobe and tickle your funny bone. Think of a question, it can be about your past, present, future, your love life, or what colour your underwear is. It doesn’t matter what it is, Peter has an answer for you. "His ad-libs are fast and sharp – a balance between humour and astonishment." The Scotsman "Tall, dark and charming." – Skinny Bethany Black: (Extra) Ordinary Bethany Black is an idiot. She had two years where her life exploded; she got dumped by her fiancée and then things really went downhill; death, illness and a fractured leg followed. Broken and on the verge of giving up, something extraordinary happened. She got cast in a starring role in Russell T Davies’ TV series Cucumber Banana Tofu, becoming the first trans person to star as a transgender character in the UK, and first on US broadcast television. Suddenly she’s making history, entirely by accident. But what happens when this happens and you’re an idiot? Seating will be unallocated. For those wanting to sit in groups, the venue advises you to arrive earlier and secure early access to the performance space. Doors open: 7pm. Peter Antoniou: 7:30pm. Bethany Black: 9:00pm.
