★★★★ 'The food is near-flawless' - Time Out
If you don’t know James Cochran, you really should. After winning ‘Great British Menu’, the chef went on to make a successful career on television and opened his own restaurant 12:51 on Upper Street. Showcasing a blend of Caribbean and Scottish influences, the double AA Rosette tasting menu features the likes of pheasant sausage, chicken gravy mayonnaise and hen’s egg, picked Devon white crab, Indian spices, peanut and carrot, cep mousse, Feuille de brick, cep mushrooms, savoury soil and truffle, and slow-braised pig’s cheek, pickled leek, apple and granola.
