Live music and silent film at Hackney AtticSilent films receive a modern day makeover at Hackney Attic, where classic flicks are augmented by a live score. Filmphonics' latest effort sees Charlie Chaplin's 1925 comedy Gold Rush reborn at the hands of Igor Outkine. The accordion player and singer provides the perfect soundscape for the high-jinks of Chaplin as he prospects his way across the tundra. Silent cinema just got a whole lot better.
