Time Out says
If your ideal summer day involves eating your way around the world, picking up a few chef-level tips and then settling in for a singalong, Foodies Festival has you covered. Back for its 21st birthday, the UK’s biggest touring food fest rolls into Syon Park for a long weekend of flavour-packed fun.
Across the site, things stay busy. The Chefs Theatre brings live demos hosted by Dhruv Baker and Thomas Frake, while the Cake & Bake Theatre sees Mich Turner leading the charge with plenty of showstopping sweetness. Expect insider tricks, crowd-pleasing recipes and the kind of tips you’ll actually take home and use.
Away from the stages, it’s a full-on feast. There’s a buzzing street food village, stacks of artisan producers and enough samples to keep you happily grazing all day. Feeling bold? The Chilli Challenge is as fiery as ever, while the Fire Stage turns up the heat even further. There’s plenty for families too, from hands-on cookery for kids to fairground rides, and yes, dogs are welcome.
Once the cooking winds down, the music kicks in. With live sets from Scouting For Girls, Boyzlife and Gareth Gates, it shifts from food festival to full-on summer party. Come hungry, stay late, and treat it like the celebration it is.
