Performance art, dance + theatrical interpretations through movement
Tonight's focus is on communication and our perceptions of age. Katia Lom lends a voice to the elderly, as she gathers momentum and rhythmic movement to an audio recording of the eponymous Maggie. Then Jennifer Jackson and Susie Crow challenge the preconception that all ballerinas must be young bucks. Sarah Kent and Yong Min Cho improvise with communication, distance, and electricity. Finally, in William William, the gestures of the rock star are taken over by two cool ladies, who dance with abandon, rebellion, and pleasure.
General admission.
