A queer icon, psychopathic puppets, Judy Garland + more
Here at YPlan we like to think we're a bit quirky. And, with that in mind, we thought we'd offer YPlanners the chance to grab a ticket to a night of the weird, wonderful and downright creepy at the Hot August Fringe.
Kick off the evening with Grégoir Aubert in "Everybody says they know me - they know the real Judy Garland!" A hilarious take on old Judy's life and career. Next, Menno will serve up a surreal and terrifying cocktail of songs through the magic of psychopathic puppets, and other gag-reflex inducing props. Followed by underground icon Holestar celebrating 10 years of entertaining and gender bending in "Sorry I’m A Lady", which explores her unconventional life from the British Army to dominatrix, artist, and good time girl.
