A Cinderella tale for the '90s
Forget bikinis on a rooftop, it's nearly Christmas, so Hot Tub Cinema are warming you up with festive classics and comedy faves. Pretty Woman sees Julia Roberts play the down on her luck prostitute Vivian, who’s hired by Richard Gere’s ruthless business man Edward. Their relationship develops from business to love, in this affable rom-com. This is the film that catapulted Roberts into fame and it’s not hard to see why. Doors open 6pm, the film starts at 7:30pm. Your ticket is for access to a hot tub shared with other attendees, usually £32 face value plus £1.45 booking fee. There is a licensed bar, food, snacks, and popcorn available. You may not bring your own alcohol. But do bring a swimsuit, a towel, flip-flops, a dressing gown (or similar), and a bag for your clothes. You will be able to store your bags in a cloakroom, and towels and dressing gowns are also available to buy on the night.
"...this modern fable still has more than enough chemistry between its leading pair to take in the box office rewards."
