What is it?

Voguing. The impossibly cool, attitude-filled style of dance that grew from the Harlem ballroom scene of the ’60s. You may know it from the 1990 doco ‘Paris is Burning’ or from Madonna’s iconic ‘Vogue’ video. But did you know that here in London, it’s been fused with yoga? That’s right: House of Voga is run by Juliet Murrell, who has been practicing yoga for more than 15 years, training first in India and then back here in London. The voguing thing isn’t a gimmick, either. Her expert classes use the vogue gesture to help deepen yoga poses and to explore the effect of body language, building strength and alignment. It’s open to all ages, all skill levels and all fitness levels. All you need is a capacity for fun. There’s a lot of it.

• Your ticket is valid for one entry to a House of Voga class at Samsung KX on Thursday October 21. Please present your e-ticket on arrival.
• Ticket is only valid for selected time and date.
• The event starts promptly at 6.30pm. Please try to arrive five minutes before start time.
• Each ticket purchased includes entrance to the event.

• Please bring your own yoga mat if possible. A limited number of spares will be available on a first come first served basis.
• Seating is unallocated.
• Once sold out additional tickets will not be available for purchase on the door. All tickets must be purchased online.
