Celebrating the island that put the acid into house
Forget what you think you know about Ibiza. The '80s had sun, sex, and DJs covered, with the island housing the three biggest clubs in the world – Ku, Amnesia, and Pacha. Ibiza’s legacy isn’t only for hedonistic Club 18-30 trailblazers, having been a liberal haven during Franco’s rule. This exhibition shows the key designers who shaped the music through illustration, fashion, and graphics. General admission. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so cannot be guaranteed. We need your card details to store the event information in "My Tickets", but rest assured, we won’t charge you a penny. Gallery open: 11am-11pm.
"…the ICA is now giving a breath of life to [Ibiza’s] sexed-up, sun-kissed former style."
