Iggyfest Double Bill: Cry-Baby + Dead Man
Celebrating the rock star with a real lust for life
These movies feature the crinkly faced rock 'n roll star in all his glory. First up is John Waters’ classic cult musical parody, Cry-Baby. Johnny Depp plays a disenfranchised Teddy Boy teen rebel, who must fight to keep his family's rock 'n roll joint open. This '50s rock romp is followed by Jim Jarmusch’s Dead Man. Depp pops up again, alongside Iggy and Billy Bob Thornton in this psychedelic western. Best available seating. Over 12s only. The screening includes an introduction by Paul Trynka, author of the acclaimed biography Iggy Pop: Open Up and Bleed. Tickets for each film are usually £10, you pay £12 for both, saving £8."...exudes teen angst and young lust from every pore."
