The super science orchestra celebrate their 10th anniversary

Oh hey, it's one of our fave London musical entities! Full disclosure: we sponsor the Imperial College String Ensemble, mostly because they're so bloody brainy and talented. It's their birthday and they're all grown up, so as a special treat they'll be performing a grand pick of classical hits, including Elgar's lovely moustache and Vaughan Williams' Fantasia – previously played when the ICSE first formed. The programme: – Elgar: Op 20, Serenade for Strings – Tippett – Little Music for String Orchestra – Handel: Concerto Grosso Op 6, No 12 in B Minor – Vaughan Williams: Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis General admission. You ticket includes a glass of prosecco.
