War photographer takes a fresh look at the D-day landings
As a young picture editor, John G. Morris' role was primarily desk-bound. All that changed in 1944 however when Life Magazine despatched him to France to cover the D-Day landings. The rolls of black-and-white footage he returned with have remained in his personal collection up until now. This special talk will lay bare the story behind one of the greatest military offensives of all time.
