Jazz Night: Wobbly Rail Quintet
The only thing that'll be wobbling is your legs after an evening in the basement bar
We know the name sounds like a train commuter's worst nightmare, but it’s actually the chance to treat yourself to some jamming jazz from two great saxophonists and a cracking rhythm section. Chris Biscoe (alto and soprano sax) and Pete Hurt (tenor sax) have worked with some of the best names in the business. Playing everything from contemporary originals to classic jazz hits, this band will have you scat-singing your way through the night in no time. Did we mention the venue's also a cracking pub? General admission. Over 18s only.
"Commanding form - consistently inventive and full of surprises."
