The real understanding of man's best friendJohn Dolan is a familiar sight in East London. After spending time in and out of prison, he sat homeless on Shoreditch High Street for three years with his dog, George (who had been given to him in exchange for a can of lager). The story of companionship and hope evolved when John started drawing George and his surroundings, to sell to passers-by. Now he’s considered a true street artist and you can catch all his unique and inspiring work from his daily microcosm at the Howard Griffin Gallery – his second installation here after the success of his debut cityscape exhibition last September.
