Spend a retro evening, highland style, with music approved by Jools himself
Boisdale of Canary Wharf is all about live jazz, whisky, cigars, and traditional Scottish cuisine. Sounds like a great night already, right? Well, with the ivory tinkling impresario Jools Holland as patron of music, Boisdale just got even better. As part of his Viva La Diva festival, he’s invited Louise Cookman to sing her big band vocals, with James Langton's Solid Senders group. Louise reaches back into the past and plucks out her perfect range and style from the swinging 1930s and beyond. Expect nuanced Peggy Lee, Helen Ward, and Anita O’Day numbers. Your tickets are for standard view seating, allocated by the venue on arrival. Over 18s only. Your ticket price includes a glass of prosecco. There is an a la carte menu available (not included in ticket). Please call the restaurant on 020 7715 5818 asap upon booking if you wish to eat.
"Singing sultry vocals that sit perfectly amid the rich settings of the band."
