Spend a retro evening, highland style, with music approved by Jools himselfBoisdale of Canary Wharf is all about live jazz, whisky, cigars, and traditional Scottish cuisine. Sounds like a great night already, right? Well, with the ivory tinkling impresario Jools Holland as patron of music, Boisdale just got even better. As part of his Viva La Diva festival, he has invited Rebecca Poole to sing the songs of smoky jazz singer Julie London. Her own sound has retro elements of London’s sultry swing, but with an added dash of pop. Her songs have an undercurrent of romance, humour, and old school jazz.
