Every Wednesday at Kansas Smitty's, the ‘Basement Tapes’ mix and match members of the Kansas Smitty’s House Band with musicians from around London and further afield to create once-in-a-lifetime intimate concerts. These nights are centred around originality. Expect to see new material written and rehearsed at the bar that week by groups curated specifically for the night. For this one welcome Ruben Fox. - Foxy is the cheeky one of the bunch. His sound is reminiscent of saxmen from Sonny Rollins to Tommy McCook. Tonight will feature him in a trio of drums, bass and sax with echoes of swing, reggae, calypso, and jazz Over 18s only.
