Late Night Laughs: Steve Hall, Mark Smith + Host Richard Herring
All the laughs you can handle
Join some of comedy’s finest up and coming and established names on Friday nights in the Elgar Room. The evening will be hosted by Richard Herring, who has enjoyed phenomenal cult success as a writer and performer and is an innovator in the world of podcasts. Richard’s Leicester Square Theatre Podcast sees him interview top comedians in front of a live audience and is then released online both as videos and podcasts for free. As a solo live performer Steve Hall has provided the support for Russell Howard on his sell-out national tours Adventures, Dingledodies and the 2009 arena tour Big Rooms And Belly Laughs. Steve’s recent work has included writing on Russell Howard’s Good News, as well as a second series of writing for Radio 4’s The Now Show. Joining him is hilarious Mark Smith. Smith has rapidly established himself as one of the most interesting and exciting new comics on the circuit. He’s gigged all over the UK, supported Russell Kane on his national tour and become a regular MC. He has also broken into television to appear on Russell Howard’s Good News, present for MTV2 and, most recently, to write and perform on Nick Helm’s Heavy Entertainment. Over 18s only. Please arrive on time as latecomers may not be admitted. This event takes place in the Elgar Room and has cabaret-style unreserved seating. Enter via Door 8 of the Royal Albert Hall. Ticket Face value is £12.00 with £1.23 in fees.
