London Gay Symphony Orchestra Pride Concert
Post-pride classical chill-out with Brahms, Respighi and Gliere
As finale to the Pride Festival, the LGSO present a post-parade classical-chillout, easing in gently with Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances, based on renaissance lute pieces. It is then followed swiftly but smoothly by Glière’s Horn Concerto, in which the orchestra’s own Emily Gorlin takes the solo, then continuing the Brahms cycle and ending happily with his Third Symphony. Pride Arts Festival finale with Europe's oldest LGBT orchestra. Duration approximately 2 hours."The orchestra shine with a sense of energy and flair that make them a joy to watch. The overpowering sound they create is nothing short of spectacular."
