Emotionally charged music by Zemlinsky, Tchaikovsky and Szymanowski
Take in the majesty of music performed at the highest level in the world, as the London Philharmonic Orchestra perform a concert of incredible power and beauty. Playing three pieces, the orchestra will work through Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 3, Zemlinsky's Six Maeterlinck Songs and Szymanowski's Stabat Mater. Glistening, tender and full of emotion, this evening is supported by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute as part of the Polska Music Programme and commemorates the 1050th anniversary of the Baptism of Poland.
